About Us
Our company is a natural result of over 30 years of friendship. That’s how long we have been sharing a common passion – fishing.
We took our first steps float and ground fishing for forage species, but it wasn’t until we started looking for predatory fish that we got fully drawn into this hobby.
2004 was the year we first visited Scotland and the famous Loch Lomond. That’s when we first caught our long dreamed-of pike that were 1 m long (approx 16+lb).
After several years happily fishing as a hobby, in 2015, we started Pike Gang – a fishing team made of friends. That’s when we started digging deep and exploring this big, magnificent loch, spending almost all our free time there.
During the first season we managed to catch over 40 pike that were over 1 m. (39.3”) long and also some large perch too. But there were
variations from season to season, and by spending more time there, we mastered them and gained a lot of new knowledge. We got to know the loch – and some of the best fishing spots – even better.
Then we started catching even bigger fish – including ones over 120 cm. (20lb).
In 2019 we had the idea to turn our common passion, which was still a recreational hobby for us, into a full-time business. That’s when we started Fishing Scotland. We have been fully dedicated to our business ever since, because we get to share our knowledge of and love for this place with anyone who wants to experience a great adventure fishing pike and perch in one of the most scenic fishing spots in the world.
